About The Hope Project

Bwiam General Hospital (BGH) is among the few facilities located in provincial Gambia with a catch area population of 68,000 (GBoS, 2013), bed capacity & occupancy of 200 & 109 respectively. It serves as a tertiary referral centre for many peripheral health centres within the Foni, Kiangs, southern Casamance and beyond.
